The Canadian Canine Search Corps (CCSC) is a Western Canada organization who are passionate about helping others.  Our dedicated members volunteer countless hours every year training and certifying canines in the highly specialized field of human remains recovery.

Human remains detection (HRD), cadaver dogs, have an incredible work ethic and amazing sense of smell. By utilizing this, cadaver dogs are able to help locate human remains from a long distance away, buried underground or even below water. 

 

Each of our handler and K9 teams undergo rigorous training and testing to ensure that they are able to provide the highest quality of search, location and detection services.

All of our services are provided on a cost recovery basis.  Whenever possible, we try to offset deployment expenses through fundraising.   As a result, we rely on the generosity of the public and people like you to support our efforts.
